Originally forged by Vlad Rituals in 2017 as a straight-up black metal assault channeling the grim spirit of Mayhem, Gorgoroth and Dark Funeral, Dragsholm evolved into a full-blown war engine by 2022. With G.B. on drums, Brendan Schleim Daly on guitar, and the addition of Gravelord in 2025, the band steered into a barbaric black/death hybrid invoking Belphegor, Deicide and Marduk. Lyrically they feed on old horror cinema and gothic literature, embracing that cold, shadow-soaked atmosphere modern metal tossed in the trash somewhere along the way.
