AGGRESSIVE PERFECTOR - COME CREEPING FIENDS

Available now via DYING VICTIMS PRODUCTIONS - After more than six years in the shadows, AGGRESSIVE PERFECTOR re-emerge with their second full-length, "Come Creeping Fiends". Like the record "Havoc at the Midnight Hour" before, the album again will be released via Dying Victims Productions. The band is Dan "Chainsaw" wielding on the guitar and vocals, Intimidator hammers on the drums and Mr. 666 grounds the sound with his thick sounding bass. The trio’s connection to the black/death/speed and Thrash entity Wode only deepens the sense of occult menace surrounding their sound, firmly rooted in the darker corners of the underground. Hailing from Manchester, England, AGGRESSIVE PERFECTOR have been forging their sound since 2014. The band’s lyrical themes revolve around the occult, war, death, and horror, perfectly complementing their aggressive musical approach. Even their name pays tribute to thrash metal heritage, lifted from Slayer’s "Aggressive Perfector" underscoring the influence that drives their relentless energy.

Kicking things off in explosive fashion,'Dead Undead' delivers a fast-paced, sleazy, and raw burst of energy. Beneath its aggressive exterior lies a solid traditional heavy metal foundation, enhanced by subtle blackened touches that add a darker dimension. The track manages to balance grit and melody with ease, making it an engaging and memorable opener that sets the tone for what’s to come. Keeping up the momentum, 'Strange Companion' delivers a punchy, raw energy that immediately grabs attention. Mid-tempo at its core, the track shifts seamlessly between heavier sections and livelier bursts, all while retaining a dark, ominous edge. Its blend of sinister tones and memorable melodies makes for a captivating listen, reinforcing the album’s balance of aggression and musicality. 'Fiend in You' emerges as a thrilling, dark spin on classic rock and roll, almost like its sinister alter ego. You can hear and feel the energy inspired by Motörhead, it’s fast, and infectious. Dan Chainsaw’s aggressive vocals cut through with raw intensity, driving the track and reinforcing the album’s overall momentum. Blending speed, menace, and a touch of mischievous fun, it’s a standout moment that immediately leaves an impression. 'Obscene Cult' opens with a clever nod to Chopin’s Funeral March, a fittingly dark snippet that establishes the song’s death-themed intensity. Layered over heavy, distorted guitars and combined by throaty, spitting vocals, the track exudes a thoroughly evil atmosphere from the first note. The combination of classical reference and raw metal aggression creates a striking and memorable introduction.

‍

The first thing you notice in 'Harlot’s Spell' is the thick and prominent bass, played by Mr. 666. This soon transitions into a more melodic and energetic section. The song leans into traditional metal influences once again, more than it has in some of the songs before, creating a compelling interplay between melody and speed and tradition. The guitar work is a standout feature, weaving intricate melodic lines with forceful riffs, while the balance of heavier and faster passages makes it one of the album’s most captivating moments. 'Return of The Axe' opens with piercing sirens that immediately signal impending chaos. The track plunges into dark, horror-soaked themes, with Dan "Chainsaw"’s razor-sharp guitar riffs cutting through the thick, ominous instrumentation. Bass, drums, and vocals lock together to create a macabre, spine-chilling atmosphere that lingers long after the track ends. One of the album’s most intense moments, it showcases the band operating at the peak of their dark, menacing power. The album winds down with 'Gallows Eve', a concise instrumental that conjures the eerie stillness following chaos. Though more subdued than the preceding tracks, it maintains the trio’s characteristic murk and intensity. Interweaving riffs, shadowy basslines, and deliberate percussion build a haunting, mysterious soundscape, leaving a lingering sense of suspense and curiosity about what might come next.

‍

'Come Creeping Fiends' is a ferocious, darkly melodic journey through speed and thrash metal, infused with horror-tinged atmospheres and razor-sharp musicianship. From the explosive opener to the haunting instrumental closer, AGGRESSIVE PERFECTOR delivers a gripping balance of aggression, melody, and sinister charm, making this album a standout return that will satisfy longtime fans and intrigue newcomers alike.
